Looking for a set of earphones with superior sound and at a great price? Look no further as Scullcandy continues to be among some of the best earphones on the market for anyone not looking to give an arm and a leg in exchange for a quality product. There are so many reasons I would recommend this product I simply don’t know where to start, but lets begin with a brief backstory on my experiences with Scullcandy.
In not so distant past I’ve purchased Scullcandy headsets for my kids, all of which seem to be very satisfied with the style and quality of the products. I always considered the brand something that resonates more with the younger audience, however, I couldn’t resist the urge of nabbing a pair of these bad boys for my own pleasure.
Sound and quality
The earbuds produce stunning quality when plugged into my tablet, phone, and laptop. Crisp rich sound and bass flow seamlessly even at a moderate volume level. I use the earphones mostly to stream episodes on Netflix and Amazon video in HD while I am flying from coast to coast.
Design and durability
These little guys pack a punch and come in virtually any assortment of colorful flavors. Priced well below 20 USD, you can virtually buy a pair to match several outfits and still not break the bank. The cables are far from flimsy and have withstood being thrown in the washer and dryer — not many earphones can survive from being submerged in water.
Quite arguably the best budget headphones on the market, and superior when compared to other more expensive competitors such as beats, monster, and apple, but at a fraction of the price. Many buyers have complained about the quality of the newer generation Scullcandy sound devices, however, you’d be hard press to discover another brand with such a loyal following.
The noise canceling feature is by far the most noticeable attribute of the Scullcandy headphones. While traveling tens of thousands of feet on-board a noisy jumbo jet, these headphones still managed to suppress at least 95 percent of the exterior noise. The earbuds are highly comfortable, unlike, headsets which usually become an irritant if I wear them for more than a few hours.
